Formed with clay slates and sliced with mechanical theories, the pieces are stacked together to create a unique gate. It passes through two different spaces: interior and exterior. It symbolizes the spatial division between cityscape and natural landscape. Situated outdoors, the moon gate passes through antiquity and into modernity. It lets the new generation to reflect the past history and life, so the crescent moon gate is not just a legend.
