Half Price General Admissions Ticket NT$40 (From 15 April 2023 to 31 July 2023)

   (Foreigners, Citizens Reside in Areas other than New Taipei City, Citizens not Qualified for Free Admission)

  1. Registered Residents of New Taipei City
  2. Seniors (Aged 65 or over) and Children (Aged 12 or under)
  3. Aboriginals (Aged 55 or over)
  4. Students (Full Time with Domestic Student ID)
  5. Disable Visitors with Government-issued ID (Complimentary Admission for One Companion)
  6. Low Income Visitors with Government-issued ID
  7. Holders of Volunteer Service Honor Card
  8. Members of the Chinese Association of Museums

Open hours

Monday to Friday 9:30 to 17:00

Saturday and Sunday 9:30 to 18:00

Closure days

  • The first Monday of every month
  • Chinese New Year's Day ,Eve and election days
  • Non-working days due to natural disasters, as announced by government
  • Necessary closures, as announced by the museum

Visitor Guidelines

  • No pets
  • No smoking (including outdoor area and Ceramics Park)
  • No eating indoors (except the restaurant)
  • No umbrellas or rainwear indoors and in galleries
  • No powered scooters (allowing 4-wheel scooters less than 120 cm in length and less than 150 cm in diameter of gyration)
  • Set mobile devices to vibrate or silent
  • No loudspeakers
  • No physical contact with items on display
  • No loud noises, running, climbing, or crossing red lines
  • No lying on chairs, taking off shoes, or sitting with crossed legs
  • No public-address service provided
  • Take only the number of pamphlets you need.
  • Comply with on-site instructions.

Photography Guidelines

  • Photography and video recording are allowed, unless specified otherwise for individual items.
  • No flash photography, tripods, or selfie sticks.
  • Commercial, educational, and hobby photography require prior consent from the Museum which venue fees apply.
  • Wedding photography is exempt from venue fees.
  • The Museum reserves the right to terminate photography sessions if they are disruptive to other visitors or the order in the venue.
  • Comply with on-site instructions.
