每個城市都應該有專屬的杯子，「新北城市杯─文化相思」是由陶博館與鶯歌燒廠商為新北市量身設計，將城市的美，化為生活的一部份。

設計重點在於複合媒材，杯蓋以磁鐵吸附相思木片，做為防燙蓋鈕，材質本身述說著早年鶯歌曾大量以相思木作為燒陶燃料的故事，因新北城市杯而重聚，別具意義。

另外值得一提的是，木蓋結合北科大專利的多色階雷雕技法，呈現色階變化。特別精選鶯歌陶博館、淡水紅毛城、板橋林本源園邸、九份基隆山及坪林茶山等5種新北文化景觀用於木蓋。

杯子把手以新北市徽花瓣形狀設計而成，凸顯作為新北城市杯的代表性，而這樣的形狀，握持省力且穩定，完美結合文化意涵與實用機能。

Every city should have its own unique cup, just like the “The New Taipei City Cup: Taiwan Acacia Cup” that is a product specially designed and collaborated between the Yingge Ceramics Museum and the company of Yingge Wares. This cup captures the beauty of our city, making it a part of our daily life.

The highlight of this ceramic cup lies in the design where a Taiwan acacia wooden coaster is magnetically attached to the ceramic lid, this coaster not only can be used as a insulation object, but also a symbolic honor to the wood-firing culture in Yingge, which would use acacia as fuel in the early days.

The images on the wooden coaster employs the innovative multi-shade laser etching technology provided by the National Taipei University of Technology, presenting 5 beautiful images of New Taipei City, these included Yingge Ceramics Museum, Fort San Domingo in Tamsui, Lin Family Mansion and Garden in Banqiao, Jiufen in Keelung, and tea mountains in Pingling.

The handle design utilizes the form of flower petals from the city emblem to create a cup that has a good and steady grip, moreover it perfectly combines cultural meanings with function.
